The Balkans is not one market. A seasonal resort on the Adriatic or the Black Sea, a city business hotel and a mountain lodge have different occupancy patterns, laundry programs and budgets. A sound textile purchase starts from that difference rather than from a generic product list.
Plan around the season, not around the stock-out
Coastal properties usually open for a defined season and need their linen, towels and amenities in place before the first arrivals. Ordering when stock has already run low leaves no time for samples or corrections. Working back from the opening date, and allowing time to approve a sample, is the most reliable way to avoid a rushed purchase.
Settle the import side early
Several Balkan countries are in the EU and others are not, so duties, documents and the customs process differ from one destination to the next. Türkiye has trade arrangements with the EU and with a number of Balkan countries, but their terms depend on the product, its origin and the destination. Treat this as something to confirm for your own country with your customs broker, not as an assumption.
- Confirm the destination country and the delivery address at the start, since both change the paperwork
- Ask which documents the supplier provides with each shipment
- Agree who handles customs clearance and who pays which charges before you place the order

Match the specification to the property
The same specification does not suit every hotel. Define the product, size and fabric for each tier of your portfolio, and confirm it with a sample that you wash in your own laundry cycle before approving a full order.
Consolidate categories into one request
Many hotels buy bed linen, towels and guest amenities from separate suppliers, which multiplies the follow-up. Asking one supplier to quote several categories in one request, with quantities per product, makes prices easier to compare and keeps delivery in one coordinated plan.
What to include in your request
- Property type, number of rooms and the country and city of delivery
- Products and quantities per product, remembering that our minimum order is 100 pieces per product
- The target date, for example the season opening
- Whether you need a sample first
If you are sourcing for a hotel in the Balkans, tell us about the property through the Request a Quote form. Our team will respond with the specification, the sample options and the next steps. HADARA Hospitality is based in Istanbul and is building its supply network in the region.
